Treasure after lost? Success after failure?

Thought of these phrases today.
Treasure after lost. Success after failure.

People only learn to treasure things when they have lost them. Why? Because they are so used to the things they have and the wonderful lives that they lead. This is what happen in life.

Only after a failure, there is success. Why? Because they learn from their mistakes they made in the failure or is it because of the failure then they realise the importance of success to them...
