Yes you are right. Be it plant or animal we must kill to eat and so to live. However it seems to me the real point is, are you living a life worthy of there sacrifice?
well i guess that depends on your definition of sacrifice To me, killing is not only about physical but more in a metaphorical sense. Our urge for something often causes us to give up on others. It may be a person or just another object. So in this context, i'll see these choices as acts of selfishness instead of describing them as sacrifices
