Nature
When was the last time you go to the park to enjoy the wind that kiss softly on your face and listen to the nature choir? Isn't life too hard at times and it makes you forget about the beautiful things that are happening around you? Or is it the society that has deprived you of your rights to enjoy nature?
Here, in Singapore, it is a privilege to see a rainbow. Though we have thunders and lightnings every other day, we don't often see a rainbow. Maybe once in a year. So when there is rainbow, you can see a crowd of Singaporeans looking and pointing. There is nothing wrong but doesn't it indicate that we haven't been enjoying the nature for some time?
"Downtown another day for all the suits and ties
Another war to fight there's no regard for life"
A quote from the song "We believe". Isn't this the life that we are living everyday? Why must we do this to ourselves? We only live once. So does it matter how much money you earn and what kind of cars you drive when after all, you will be nobody when you are dead.
So, live the life that you want, don't be so hard on yourself but most importantly, don't have any regrets. Take a break and look at the world outside. Realise how much you have missed out.
