Love And Peace. Please
Maybe we should start worrying. Not with our own work but with the things that are happening around us. War is on going in Middle East, terrorist threats are everywhere, the future of our country is at risk as it can't depend on the new generation.
Went for a CIP reading programme today. Saw a bunch of kids. I did not expect them to behave this way. It could be because I had pinned too much hope on the society. That's why the disappointment. Mischievious is acceptable. But not disrespect. Ignorant is normal. But not being a smart alex.
What truely stunned me is the moral values of children these days. They are not at or anywhere near the bench mark. Though I must say not all are like that, we can't ignore these group of people that really need our help. Stop thinking that they are hopeless or they will turn for the better in time to come. Step out and help. I might not be an activist but I'm sure an visionary person.
If you read yesterday's Sunday Times, you would have seen the article about females in Singapore who go for abortion after abortion. What made me worry is the mindset that people have now. Times might have changed, but some facts are still facts. Babies are living things. But some could not see agree with is on that. One woman who is only at the age of 21 had gone for abortion 3 times. A seventeen year old said that abortion is nothing as when she wake up from the bed, the baby is gone.
Now, think. Is this really a world that we want to live in? To solve this, what we need is really love and peace. Please...
