Open Sesame

Was on the train today and started thinking of scary movies that made used of the train.

It's easy to scare someone off but it's difficult to make someone happy.

I believe that in everyone, there are equal chances to make one happy and unhappy. But as time goes, one grows to see more unpleasant things. All these "truth of lives" makes one gives up happiness. They don't believe that there are true happiness anymore. Everyone seems to be a hypocrite. These lack of hope results in the increasing number of doors in the heart that one has to open in order to be happy. On the other hand, this results in the decrease in number of doors that lead to unhappiness.

The environment forces people to give up hope in happiness.
The society makes people feel that unhappiness is everywhere.
There are equal opportunities to find the key to open the doors. The difference lies in the number.

Bad Battery

Two different instruments, two different culture, two groups of different people, one concert.

I can say that the harmoc-angklung concert is the best school concert I've watched so far. I personally prefer the angklung performance maybe because I like impactful music. The harmonica is a bit too soft and smooth for me. The amazing thing about angklung is when everyone plays together, there is synchronization but if you look closely at one angklung, you can hear the sound produced by that one little instrument. It's really amazing because you can't see or hear this from any other instrument.

As I'd said a concert is more than being a concert. I'm quite disappointed by my performance today. Though it wasn't my fault that the battery gone flat and we only got one camera, it's a pity that we can't take photos at the end where most of the most significant things happened. I felt that it's like a task given to you but you failed to accomplish it. So far, I have not done any duty that I'm really satisfied with. But it's okay as this will spur me to improve myself and do better each time.

P.S: I think that last song is great. Impactful and touching.

Sometimes

When everybody is learning to learn, all the people around she will say it's okay not to have a flair in an area, as long as she works hard, she will be as good as the others. But sometimes you just have to admit that some are more talented than the others. And they must be respected and recognised for their special ability be it big or small.

Before attending Tanya's concert today, I knew she is great in singing and talented in composing. After the concert, I'm more assured that she had chosen the right path and it would be a pity if she stops singing or composing one day.

I feel that relaxing is very important in life. No matter how busy you are, you should try to do something that's different from what you are doing everyday. Be it going overseas for a holiday or just sitting around for a cup of coffee. Slow down you pace for a while and it will really be rewarding.

For me, sitting down and listening to a concert can really add value to my life. A concert is not only about looking at the one you like performing. It's about encouraging and inspiring one self. Sometimes we forget who we are and what we want. We get lost. Watching a concert can really help you regain that simplest happiness of yours.

Letter For Us

It's been 5 years. I don't remember when was the first time we speak to each other. Because of my bad memory, I couldn't remember many things that we did together. Only significant stuff or maybe we hadn't done a lot of things?!

Well, I think we are a cool gang. One that can choke on ice-cream, one that can laugh on the most unlaughable joke, discuss the most unimportant topic......... We keep saying that there are only six of us. But actually, six is already a lot. For real true friends, one is already enough. We have six. This means that we have six times the fun, six times the problems and six times of solutions. When one is unhappy, there are five other people to influence you. That is a great majority.

I hope that we do not know each other that well yet. Cause we have the rest of the life time to do so. We have totally different personalities and that make us a good combination.

In the movie "I not Stupic Too", the little boy stole money to buy 1 hour of his father's time to watch his performance. I know we are all busy people. We have different schedules and before we know it, we will be seeing each other lesser and lesser. But I really hope that from time to time, try to leave an hour's of your time for the people around you. Not only us but also your family and friends. That one hour may mean little to you but it makes a different to others.

I hope we will continue this way. At least meeting up once in a while. A simple dinner is enough. And also I need to thank you guys for celebrating my birthday yesterday. Though it was simple, it means a lot. Since my birthday is coming, I wish that we will remain in touch and may everyone be happy and healthy always.
